Quatrase 10,000 (previously Forte) contains four enzymes for the following types of intolerances:
Lactose Intolerance
Fructose Intolerance
Sucrose Intolerance
Fructan and Galactan (GOS) Intolerance
This product is taken at the time of the meal or drink that contains any single or combination of the above, to break them down and avoid the unpleasant IBS type effects of food intolerance.
As enzymes act locally in the gut, if you have two or three intolerances, not all four, there is no problem in taking an enzyme that you do not need, so this would be the preferable option for both convenience of only needing to carry one product with you, and more cost effective.
Directions for use (adult): Take one capsule with liquid (or twist open capsule and place contents on food or in liquid and stir) immediately before eating/drinking a product containing either or a combination of lactose, fructose, sucrose, fructans and/or galactans (GOS). Lasts for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
Maximum of 15 capsules daily (for instances of severe food intolerance, taking 2 to 3 capsules can be safely tried if not a sufficient response from 1 capsule, although not commonly required).
Child dose (2 years and above): The powder is almost tasteless with little texture, so opening the capsule is a great option if do not wish to swallow capsules - and also for childen. Child dose is proportional to food intake, so approximately half the contents of a capsule would be suitable for a food portion half the size of a standard adult portion. Under 2 years of age please seek health professional guidance before use.

I have had problems with reflux for the past 16 months (approx). I had also had issues prior to that on/off over the years. It's been so hard to get to the bottom of it. Intoleran seems to have taken the edge off, thank goodness. I've recommended it to many people I know who suffer from reflux and/or IBS. I have been lactose intolerant for over a couple of years now. Gradually I noticed I became uncomfortable eating rajma, chole and other pulses which are typically in most Indian meals and I would feel bloated often. I could plan my meals while eating at home, relieving me. But when travelling on work and other social occasions I would be left with not many options in vegetarian meals. I have just got to try Intoleran enzyme blend which is effective and it is convenient where I do not have to consume only lactase enzyme for dairy and worry about mixed meals which I eat! I can comfortably and peacefully enjoy meals, be able to have social outings, and also manage food while travelling ! Thank you and I hope this can be accessible easily in India in futrue

I really like these.
They are pricey but effective, so I only really use them if I am want to eat food out or on special occasions, and not have to suffer discomfort or anxiety about what I can eat or not.
However this means I am able to notice them actually working. I am even able to enjoy garlic without being awake for the next two nights, so they must help me digest the problematic FODMAP really well.

My dietitian recommended it as I have IBS and am on a low FODMAP diet and I had great expectations and it is very costly. I have had no success with it. Perhaps I am not taking enough tablets? I will discuss further with my dietitian this week.
