Fructase helps those with fructose intolerance, it contains the enzyme Xylose Isomerase. This product is taken at the time of the meal or drink that contains fructose, to break down the fructose and avoid the unpleasant IBS type effects of food intolerance.

Directions for use (adult): Take one capsule with liquid (or twist open capsule and place contents on food, or in liquid and stir) immediately before eating/drinking a product containing fructose. Lasts for approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Maximum of 15 capsules daily (for instances of severe food intolerance, taking 2 to 3 capsules can be safely tried if not a sufficient response from 1 capsule, although not commonly required).

Child dose: (2 years and above): The powder is almost tasteless with little texture, so opening the capsule is a great option if do not wish to swallow capsules - and also for childen. Child dose is proportional to food intake, so approximately half the contents of a capsule would be suitable for a food portion half the size of a standard adult portion. Under 2 years of age please seek health professional guidance before use.

Contains per capsule: Xylose Isomerase 7500iu. Excipients: calcium carbonate. HPMC capsule suitable for vegetarians.

Hereditary fructose intolerance: Fructase can not be used by people with hereditary fructose intolerance. This involves a digestion problem in relation to the liver, not in the intestine.

I can go out without the belly ache!

Intoleran has been a lifesaver since I ordered my first lot of it last year. It means I can eat out without all the worry (or ending up feeling like the odd one out because I can’t eat anything). I still need to be a bit careful but it’s so wonderful not having to worry about every bite I put in my mouth and worrying about the aftermath.

Amazing - I can eat out

The intoleran products are amazing. I can eat out and not worry about FODMAPs. I had to figure out dosage - lots of onions and garlic I would take 3-4 tablets (very rarely), and only some i would take 1 or 2. Find what works for you. If I dont get the dosage right, it still helps - I dont get as sick or have to run to the toilet. So either way - its a win!

Unfortunate side effects

I was so excited about this product but unfortunately I found when taking 1-2 tablets around dinner time, I'd wake up feeling nauseous the next day every time.

Stopped the stomach rumbles/sounds I would have gotten from fructose but the nausea side effects aren't worth it sadly

It works great for those times you want to treat yourself with a little fructose.

My wife suffers from Fructin intolerance. She can’t eat garlic or onion and that’s the tip of the Iceberg.
The Fructase tablets enable my wife to eat out and not suffer the consequences of poor judgement or the preparation of the food at a restaurant.
My wife can live a relatively normal life.
