About Fructans and Galactans (part of the FODMAPs):
Fructans and Galactans are part of the FODMAPs (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols). FODMAPs are carbohydrates that are poorly digested and poorly absorbed in the small intestine. Those FODMAP’s will be fermented by bacteria in the colon. This results in the production of gas and gastric discomfort.

Fructans and galactans are oligosaccharides which consists of a chain of several carbohydrates. Fructans and galactans cannot be digested and absorbed in our small intestine for those that are intolerant, because they do not produce an enzyme to cut the fructans and galactans into pieces. They will be transported to the colon, where they will be fermented by bacteria. Fructans are contained in foods such as wheat products, garlic, onions, leek, figs and dates. Galactans can be found in beans, legumes and cashew nuts.

Great product overall. I have to take 3 tablets for it to be effective, which is quite expensive all things considered. I also sometimes still feel unwell the day after, but it’s definitely still made life easier as I now have lots more options when eating out!

Life changing

After 25 years of digestive issues caused by fructans and having very limited options foodwise, I can finally eat without stress.
No more asking a million questions, no more responses of " Oh there's only a little bit of onion, garlic, leeks etc ".
It has literally changed my life and now allows me to eat food that I haven't cooked, with confidence.

Honestly changed my life

I have an intolerance to fructan and this has worked really well for me so far!!!

I was using Fodzyme before (which worked well for me) but wanted something cheaper and so was ecstatic to find out about Intoleran Fibractase. Fodzyme breaks down Fructan, GOS and lactose so I figured Intoleran might work even better for me since it doesn’t also include the lactose enzymes, which I don’t need. I think it’s actually worked about the same as Fodzyme, but it is MUCH cheaper per serve so I’m very happy with it.

I also love the convenient and mess-free capsules it comes in and how I can choose to swallow them with water or sprinkle them on my food. It’s soooo much more convenient when eating out and much less noticeable (I was getting sick of explaining to people why I was scooping a strange white powder on my food haha).

Could still be cheaper but I’m so glad I’ve found something that works and something that’s more affordable than other brands out there.
