Strawberry milkshake with lactose-free milk

This two-glass milkshake uses strawberries for sweetness and a little vanilla for flavour. Frozen berries make a thicker drink.

Serves or makes: 2 small glasses

Ingredients

  • 250 mL lactose-free milk
  • 150 g strawberries
  • Half a teaspoon vanilla
  • A few ice cubes, optional

Method

  1. Hull the strawberries and place in a blender with the milk and vanilla.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding ice if preferred.
  3. Divide between two glasses and drink promptly. Lactose-free dairy still contains milk protein and is unsuitable for milk allergy.
