Strawberry milkshake with lactose-free milk
This two-glass milkshake uses strawberries for sweetness and a little vanilla for flavour. Frozen berries make a thicker drink.
Serves or makes: 2 small glasses
Ingredients
- 250 mL lactose-free milk
- 150 g strawberries
- Half a teaspoon vanilla
- A few ice cubes, optional
Method
- Hull the strawberries and place in a blender with the milk and vanilla.
- Blend until smooth, adding ice if preferred.
- Divide between two glasses and drink promptly. Lactose-free dairy still contains milk protein and is unsuitable for milk allergy.
